V33, 60 years of bold innovation!
You are here
1957 saw the meeting of two teenagers, John Lennon and Paul McCartney, who would go on to form the Beatles. And it was the year that Albert Camus was awarded the Nobel Prize for Literature.
1957 was also and above all the year in which V33 was founded thanks to the ingenious invention of the very first floor varnish. The brand was named after this product as its resistance was equivalent to 33% of the hardness of glass.
Over the years, we have continued to grow.
With 3 brands for individual consumers – V33, Libéron and Diamantine Expert – and two brands aimed at trade customers – Plastor and Cécil Professionnel – the company has perfect knowledge and understanding of all surface coating solutions and what they are suitable for. Whether you're looking for wood products, interior and exterior paints, technical paints, or personalized colours using our tinting machines, we support all your DIY projects every step of the way.
The V33 Group has made international expansion a priority and now sells its products in 30 countries, with 7 subsidiaries spread across Europe and a production unit in Poland.
Independence of mind and action, audacity, perseverance and support are values we have remained faithful to over all this time.
But we also owe our success to our customers, who have placed their trust in us for the past 60 years.
